The Arc - Jefferson, Clear Creek & Gilpin Counties

We serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, etc.—and their families/caregivers—from birth through end-of-life. People rely on us for person-centric assistance with • Navigating systems: Benefits, education, healthcare • Life needs: Housing, employment, transportation • Empowerment skills: Self-advocacy, conflict resolution We are also a resource for community partners within and beyond the disabilities community: education professionals, disability services professionals, city councils, adult and child protective services, law enforcement, victim services, etc. People with IDD and their families are at the center of all we do. We employ people with IDD and engage people with IDD in decision-making and planning to ensure our work is inclusive, relevant and beneficial. All programs are offered free of charge. We do not receive Medicaid reimbursement or government funding for any of our programs.
