Amaravathi Rare Diseases Organization (Regd no: 32/2019) is an NGO works for children and patients who is suffering from Muscular Dystrophy(MD) and its variants.
What is Muscular Dystrophy(MD)?
Muscular dystrophy is a group of diseases that cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass. In muscular dystrophy, abnormal genes (mutations) interfere with the production of proteins needed to form healthy muscle.
There are many kinds of muscular dystrophy. Symptoms of the most common variety begin in childhood, mostly in boys. Other types don't surface until adulthood.
There's no cure for muscular dystrophy. But medications and therapy can help manage symptoms and slow the course of the disease.
What is our activities?
* Child Welfare Organization called BRIGHT BIGINNINGS works for child and their education who cant able to attend the schools due to their disability.
* Women Welfare Organization called SOWJANYA SAHYOGA works for women that educate and provide hygiene kits for better lifestyle.
