Arete Games is a provider of game development tools for AI applications. Our main product is Arete Engine, a new type of ECS, Rust-based 🦀 game engine that uses a unique unified-memory architecture. Arete Engine started as a project out of Stanford two years ago with the goal of modernizing game engines for the games and hardware of today. By pushing the boundaries of performance, optimization, and ergonomics, we look to enable the next generation of games. Arete Games was acquired in 2024 under undisclosed terms.
