Argentina Performance Art is the first digital platform exclusively dedicated to theoretical research on Performance Art in Argentina It is an inclusive, open, and free tool that facilitates access to detailed information, an ever-updating database of artists and their works, as well as academic, journalistic, and audiovisual material related to the discipline. It aspires to conserve an archive of the intangible heritage of past performances imprinted in collective memory by compiling and analyzing historical archives and saving them from oblivion. Its goal is to keep building an archive for the future of Latin American art, culture, and memory; highlighting current performative representations from a non-heteropatriarchal perspective. Additionally, promotes the understanding of this discipline by reconstructing its history, contributing to the development of its definition, and providing a theoretical framework for its approaches.
