Argonauts studio

Argonauts studio is a Ready to wear/digital fashion brand based in Tehran, Iran. The brand was established and launched in the spring of 2022 with the aim of organizing a new way of practicing fashion, far away from and synchronous with its center. Argonauts exists as a collective experience, which is based on the interaction of distinct ideas and media. By reviewing the borders and the limits of the media. Within the realms of irony, Argonauts intends to merge and redefine distinct poles such as the distinctions between physical and virtual, garments and images, playfulness and seriousness. We believe that Irony and the sense of playfulness can bring forth a vision of dissolvement of the borders between assertive and spontaneous design. The design process is conducted to form a symmetry between senses of youth, its potent activeness and festive energy, along with a sense of over-emotionalism(sentimentality, romanticism). Furthermore it is inclined to create another sort of symmetry between physical and digital realms of fashion. Argonauts first collection realized an opportunity to implement digital technologies such as digital pattern-making, digital scanning, 3D modeling, animating and digital storytelling, in both its production and presentation.These Digital media gave us many advantages in the case of production; Sustainability , improvisation and limitless trial and errors, being the most important ones.
