Dr Waheed Arian is an emergency medicine doctor in the NHS. He is also a world-renown humanitarian innovator leading an international telemedicine charity which is providing emergency and mental health support to healthcare professionals in low resource countries. He has won international recognition for his journey from a childhood in war-torn Afghanistan to world's top universities and then founding a life-saving global charity. Facing the realities of war, refugee camp environment, and social isolation from an early age, Dr Arian suffered severe stress, depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress for many years. He used scientific methods to overcome incredible levels of stress and to support his mental wellbeing. Now, through the experts of Arian Wellbeing, he wants to help others across the world to manage stress and to support their mental wellbeing using complete mind and body wellbeing methods.
