Not for profit Judo Dojo (school) run through the local Police Activity League (PAL). Created to provide access to judo training for local youth and adults so that they might gain discipline, confidence, physical wellness and a foundation in self-defense.
Arigatai can be translated to mean ‘Thankful’ and dojo means ‘school’ and so we acknowledge with gratitude the heritage we enjoy. It is only due to the dedication and hard work of those that came before us that we can enjoy Judo. If anyone, many of them volunteers, had stopped passing on the art, we would have nothing to share together today. That’s why we volunteer to run this dojo – Please join us and improve your confidence, stamina and focus while you relieve the stresses of the day! You will be glad you did!
