Arinox, one of the companies of the Arvedi Group, was founded in 1990 for the production and marketing of stainless steel thin and ultrathin rolled strip. The product is supplied with different finishing characteristics including BA finishing, i.e. bright annealing suitable for normal drawing processes, or SUT®, i.e. special annealing for deep drawing processes or 2H strain hardened through cold rolling for mechanical applications. Arinox, the only Italian producer in the precision strip sector, employs a workforce of around 240 working 21 shifts weekly in a continuous cycle, with a production capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year. Arinox currently exports over 70% of its output, mainly to Europe but also to America and the Far and Middle East.
