Arivakam is a non-profit organization founded in 2008 with a focused mission: educating and empowering the younger generation about Tamil Language, Culture, and History across North America and 14 other diaspora countries. Our dedication lies in nurturing the roots of our rich heritage and ensuring a strong connection to identity through education. We educate students from Preschool to Grade 8 allowing them to delve into the uniqueness of Tamil Language, explore and experience its vibrant Culture, and gain profound knowledge of its ineradicable History. We proudly run a network of 150+ Thamizh schools, catering to over 5000+ students across North America. Our 200+ dedicated teachers is carefully handpicked to pass on the Tamil language, culture and history to today's generation and generations to come. At Arivakam, we maintain a Standardized International Curriculum that ensures a consistent and high-quality learning experience across all our schools. Annually, our students undergo examinations conducted by the prestigious International Council for Educational Development of Tamils (ICEDT), setting the benchmark for excellence in Tamil education. Beyond examinations, we provide numerous opportunities for our students to showcase their talents: Speech Competitions, Spelling Competitions, Art Competitions, Student Exhibition and Vaakai: Stage Performances.
