Arizona has a prolific history of technology creation, however, it has never had its own early stage fund. We solved this problem by raising the Arizona Founders Fund. We are investing in AZ startups, connecting technology pioneers with portfolio companies, and creating new innovation networks. The Arizona Founders Fund is delivering on its promise to invest and support the next generation of AZ’s great technology companies. Since the 1970s, Arizona has been home to many publicly-held technology companies. These global enterprises have come to be recognized as the leading brands in their sectors: GoDaddy, On Semiconductor, Senestech, Axon, Burr-Brown, First Solar, Microchip, Lifelock, JDA, to name a few. Today, these companies employ over 150,000 professionals and have created more than $63B in shareholder value. We raised the AZFF to open the door to all of Arizona's technology founders; provide capital, mentorship, and new networks to the next generation of AZ tech founders; leading diligence; and serve as the True North for AZ tech investors.
