Ark Games

Ark Games is an independent, agile development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We are devoted to creating unique, hand-crafted games which tell engaging stories. We believe that games as aesthetic media have the potential to be every bit as powerful as film, music and literature - and a lot more *fun* than all of them put together! We take a story-driven approach to games - not necessarily a narrative approach, but one which begins with analysis of valuable experiences. We iterate design of new architectures to carry them, and develop essential technologies to deliver them. To deliver an experience - to tell a story – is nothing new, but the way we do it makes all the difference.
