Arkansas Atrangi

Arkansas Atrangi is the first-ever premier Competitive Bollywood Fusion Dance Team in the entirety of Arkansas. We are affiliated with the University of Arkansas and are students of all years and backgrounds who come together for the love of dancing. We are a part of the Desi Dance Network national circuit which consists of 125 collegiate teams across the nation. Our team showcases a variety of dance styles. We perform dance styles from India such as Bhangra, Kuthu/South, and Indian Classical. We also perform Western dance styles such as Hip-Hop and Contemporary. Arkansas Atrangi is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant Indian cultural presence on the University Campus while championing the rich tapestry of Arkansas's heritage on a national stage. Our mission is to foster inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and nurture a strong sense of community. Through engaging artistic representations and meaningful cultural initiatives, we aim to bridge cultures, promote understanding, and inspire unity.
