The ARMADA doctoral network addresses the limitations of Conversational AI and Large Language Models (LLMS)—such as opacity, bias, and inefficiency—by training 15 Early Stage Researchers in key disciplines like NLP, Machine Learning, Data Management, and Algorithms. These researchers will work on making LLMS more reliable, interpretable, and efficient, especially in sensitive domains. The program emphasises alignment with domain knowledge, explainability, interactive correction, and computational efficiency. Through interdisciplinary training, including schools and workshops, ARMADA aims to develop experts capable of guiding EU policy and the adoption of AI technologies in critical fields like healthcare, education, and business intelligence.
