The Aviation Risk Management Advisory Panel (ARMAP)
is an independent body of recently retired experts in the field of aviation security, drawn from governments and industry across several continents.
The core objective of the Panel is to promote across the global commercial aviation sector, as well as with government regulators and agencies, modern risk analysis and management tools that address and help mitigate the threat posed to the industry by terrorist groups.
This objective is designed in turn to support the full implementation of relevant legally binding undertakings and other agreements adopted by governments and industry under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
