About Army Ten-Miler

As the third largest 10-miler road race, the Army’s annual Army Ten-Mile Race is conducted in our nation’s capital by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington (MDW). Attracting over 35,000 runners and 900 teams each year from around the world, the Army Ten-Miler (ATM) exemplifies the Spirit of Sport and the Spirit of a Nation. Proceeds are devoted to support Soldier and Soldier family programs. Participants include military, civilians, wheel chair athletes and wounded warrior athletes. A Youth Run is also available on the same day for children. The Army Ten-Miler Race weekend activities include a two-day Expo that welcomes over 65,000 runners and guests from all over the world to heart of DC. The Expo features over 100 booths and activations selling gear and technology, showcasing the latest products, sampling foo and beverages, recruiting & real military helicopters and ATV displays. ATM's post race party will feature a HOOAH Tent Zone with Army installations around the world, an interactive activity zone for the youth and ATM's Award Ceremony!
