Arohi Media LLC, a Texas based corporation, acquired WDUR-AM, an historic 1948 radio station which was silent since August 2013 and put it back on Air on July 9, 2014 with 24 hour non stop Indian News/Talk and music format first of its kind for the South Asian community of the Research Triangle.
WDUR is located on a beautiful 9 acre wooded lot in Durham area and shares boundaries with NCCU and is a few miles from the prestigious Duke University. WDUR signal reaches all largely populated south Asian communities in Raleigh/Durham, Chapel Hills, Cary, Research Triangle Area, and Morrisville - Over 100,000 residents are of South Asian heritage. We also broadcast on the HD4 Channel of 99.9 FM (WCMC) and on our translator on 98.3FM.
