Àrokò Cooperative

Àrokò Cooperative is a worker-owned and democratically controlled organization that designs products, publications, classes, and spaces that champion liberation and well-being for the Earth and its inhabitants. Our mission is to create a more liberated society by elevating the beliefs and methods of African and Indigenous cultures. By embracing and expanding upon these design philosophies, we work to meet the social, economic, and environmental needs of our communities, especially those that exist on the margins. Our team is comprised of a diverse mix of individuals, cultures and genders across the African diaspora. This rich mosaic of members includes designers, creatives, researchers, technologists, and strategists, all united in their dedication to leveraging design as a transformative tool.
