Asbestos Removal Risk Management Services (aRRMS) is a business within WHS Industry Services Pty Ltd that is focussed on providing services to the asbestos removal industry. aRRMS draws on the extensive technical and regulatory experience of its staff to provide advice and services to assist employers meet their regulatory duties and to achieve best practice in the management of risks associated with asbestos removal work and in the management of asbestos present in the workplace. aRRMS also seeks to support the asbestos removal industry through its asbestos training packages delivered by aRRMS at its Melbourne Innovation Centre, Greensborough facility and in partnership with the Master Builders Association of Victoria. aRRMS offers unique services founded on over 30 years of work experience as a specialist inspector and executive within the OHS regulatory environment. It draws on a vast range of technical expertise relevant to the asbestos removal industry: -Qualified and experienced Occupational Hygienists [full membership of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH)] -Qualified and experienced in the conduct of Government workplace inspections, including asbestos removal inspections -Trained in building and construction -Qualified and experienced trainer and assessor -Victorian Building Authority Registered Builder-Domestic (Manager) -Trained in the removal of friable and non-friable asbestos -Extensive involvement in the development of the Victorian asbestos regulations and Workplace Victoria compliance codes, guidance material and policies, and procedures relevant to the granting of asbestos removal licences.
