Established in Athens in 1991, by Kostas Moraitis, Architect Engineer NTUA, Professor of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.), PhD in Architecture & Landscape Architecture (NTUA), MSc in Arabic and Islamic Studies (Hellenic Center of Arabic and Islamic Studies – Pantios School of Political Sciences, Greece), MSc (DEA) in Ethical and Political Philosophy (University of Paris I, Panthéon – Sorbonne, France) Katerina Chelidoni, Architect Engineer NTUA, MA in architecture IOOAS York University Founded on the philosophy that all structures should be conceived in harmony with both their social and physical environment – the ARSIS project portfolio has quickly grown to include all aspects of design and implementation for public and private buildings, urban design and planning, landscapes, interiors and objects. Today, the Arsis team consists of five architects, two of which are the firm’s senior partners. Mr. Moraitis and Ms. Chelidoni bring to the firm over 35 years of combined experience in the field of architecture. Kostas Moraitis, in particular, has a distinguished academic career as a Professor at the Architectural School of the National Technical University of Athens, specializing in the design of cultural buildings, in urban design and landscape architecture.The company’s professional activities cover a broad area of design and urban renewal projects including (but not limited to) office buildings, bank headquarters, municipal buildings, cultural buildings, marine facilities and landscapes, public transportation stations, tourist and residential complexes. Furthermore, the team consults and cooperates with professional and academic specialists depending on each project’s requirements. Together the ARSIS team has the unique capabilities to provide overall support from the design stage through project completion, including co-ordination of all independent professionals.
