ART-ARNm is an Inserm R&D (US 55) laboratory in Orléans (France) dedicated to the development of innovative technologies based on messenger RNA (mRNA). Our main mission is to develop and accelerate therapeutic innovation projects, fostering the clinical translation of RNA-based therapies. We are providing mRNA technologies expertise to academic and private laboratories. The ambition is to promote, accelerate and disseminate RNA technologies through a coherent range of collaborative projects to bridge the gap between researchers/clinicians and industries. ART-ARNm has a solid network with accredited French and Europeans integrators and platforms: TIBH (Toulouse), IVETH (Paris), Opto-oligo (Bordeaux), PPC (Montpellier), CITHERA (Evry) and ETP Nanomedicine. It is also connected with well-known clinical centers BeCAT (Prof Petra Reinke, La Charité, Berlin, Germany), VRI (Prof Yves Levy, Créteil) and Immune4Cure (Prof Christian Jorgensen, Montpellier).
The laboratory is directed by Professor Chantal Pichon (Université d’Orléans), holder of the Chair of Innovation Excellence at the Institut Universitaire de France (Paris) and appointed guest professor at La Charité Berlin Institute of Health. Over the past decade, she has been particularly interested in mRNA-based vaccines and therapies and is developing innovative formulations for vaccination, cell therapy and protein replacement therapy.
