Art Connection Rhode Island

Art Connection Rhode Island (ACRI) is a nonprofit section 501(c)(3) organization located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The organization’s mission is grounded in the belief that art should be accessible to everyone, regardless of socio-economic background. ACRI aims to make a transformative impact by placing original works of art in public spaces, enriching the lives of both the artists and the communities they serve. Since 2011, ACRI has helped local artists gain visibility and reach broader audiences by placing over 2,150 pieces of art across 135 nonprofits in Rhode Island. ACRI envisions a future where every service agency will have original art transforming its public spaces, providing a lasting impact on those who interact with them. In addition, since 2017, we have provided after-school, hands-on, creative art education workshops taught by professional artists. Through the program, we have served over 260 children, preteens and teenagers in Providence, Pawtucket and Newport.
