Art on Board is a unique organization; combining physical, artistic, and entrepreneurial creativity with active community engagement to build strong individuals that will, in turn, build even stronger communities.
We focus on promoting three defining traits to the communities we serve: Active. Creative. Engaged.
Originally started as an entrepreneurship class project at the University of Vermont, Art on Board has quickly blossomed into a nationally-recognized, community-based youth development program. By combining the active, creative lifestyles intrinsic to both the action sports and arts cultures, with hands-on community engagement, Art on Board aims to inspire the next generation of creative leaders.
Through our ongoing national tour, artist and brand collaborations, our own community involvement, and most excitingly, our very own youth engagement programs, Art on Board will be creating impactful change for years to come.
Art on Board is currently led by founders Ben Weigher and Tim Andreasen - friends and classmates from the University of Vermont, who between them, have over four decades of active engagement within the action sports and arts communities.
