ART.PRIVATE. is an innovative art platform for private sales, exclusively dedicated to collectors who want to sell, buy and find quality artworks securely, in complete privacy and transparency.
Behind this idea, Aurélie Didier, independent art dealer since mid-2019, who after having spent more than fifteen years in the art world, from primary market galleries to secondary market private dealers, from London to Paris, has embarked on this new adventure.
The idea came up during the first lockdown, in April 2020. The art world abruptly stopped, with cancellation of all art fairs and auctions. The only field of transactions left was the one of private sales. Private collectors as well as art dealers then had to face a frenetic run for sales by various actors of the art world, reinforcing the lack of discretion around the artworks being even more shopped around as well as a dramatic raise in asking prices due to numerous intermediates.
ART.PRIVATE. became the solution to guarantee optimal security around the works, as it is exclusively created for and by collectors who are invited or whose application has been accepted. Only members of ART.PRIVATE. will see the works offered for sale. Works will be renewed every month, with no possibility of screenshotting any content within the App. All information will be sent internally with no possibility of forwarding them.
