The Accelerator of Technological Research in Genomic Therapy (ART-TG) is a public R&D laboratory created by Inserm to accelerate innovation in the field of cell and gene therapy. Operational since 2020, ART-TG is headed by Anne Galy Ph.D.
With our team of experts in molecular and cellular biology or pharmaceutical sciences, we offer a unique capacity to support translational research in cell and gene therapy. We specialize in lentiviral vectors and CRISPR genome editing technologies that provide durable effects. We conduct preclinical and IND-enabling studies, develop bioproduction processes and de-risk CMC, enabling industrial or clinical transfer. We support the projects from academic laboratories or start-ups, enabling access to early phase clinical trials.
Our research projects are focused on therapies that target the immune or blood systems to treat infectious diseases, sickle cell disease, fibrosis or cancer. Our laboratory is a member of various international scientific networks and coordinates several programs ; a national PEPR Biotherapy-Bioproduction program to develop B-cell-based immunotherapies (THERA-B) and an AFM/Telethon program for the gene therapy of sickle cell disease.
Located in the southern suburbs of Paris in France, we benefit from the rich ecosystem of the highly-ranked Paris Saclay University, of Genopole and of the Genother biocluster. We are also associated to the Mondor Institute for Biomedical Research in Creteil and its Vaccine Research Institute.
