Arthavida Intermediary Limited (AIL) was incorporated in 2013, as a limited liability company affiliated to Arthavida Foundation Guarantee Limited & Arthacharya Foundation. AIL commenced operations on the 1st of April 2014 when it took over the micro finance functions that were previously conducted by Arthavida Foundation Guarantee Limited. The period before the incorporation of AIL combined with the period after, account for 27 years of experience in eradicating poverty by providing financial solutions to marginalized populations in different parts of Sri Lanka. AIL’s main focus is providing small loans for income generating activities to the country’s financially excluded societies. Presently, AIL is running its operations from its head office and 16 branch offices, together covering 9 districts and catering over 40.000 clients. Our mission is to delight our clients by offering innovative products and service excellence, in order to grow a clean loan portfolio. We will provide positive and challenging space for our team for their development and continuous learning to create an objective driven, skilled and knowledgeable workforce. We will create highest value for our stakeholders and communities where we serve.
