Working with artists for the benefit of our community. ArtHouse Jersey is a charity that serves the community by supporting artists from Jersey and across the world to create ambitious work that has a positive impact on our Island and international audiences. Producing: We provide time, support and a home for the creative process to enable the creation of ambitious work that has a positive impact on our Island community and international audiences. We work with artists practicing across every discipline from all backgrounds. We produce large-scale exhibitions, theatre pieces, concerts and community-focused workshops. We are there to enable artists who have ambition and talent to create inspiring, high-quality work that can change lives. Support for artists: We provide local, Jersey-based artists with financial support and offer free advice and artist-led development opportunities, ranging from facilitated workshops and projects, guided residencies, and industry networking, to drop-in sessions with our team. We are there to nurture and provide a helping hand at critical moments in an artist’s journey: from young people choosing to pursue a career in the arts, to established professionals. Our home: ArtHouse Jersey headquarters is situated at the historic Greve de Lecq Barracks and provides a cultural hub for the island, where artistic activity, creation and collaboration can thrive. rtHouse Jersey at Capital House is a multipurpose arts space located on the ground floor of 8 Church Street, tucked behind The Royal Square, alongside St Helier Town Church. The space offers Islanders a centralised hub for arts and creativity in town. From visual arts to dance, music, drama, film and poetry, Capital House is ArtHouse Jersey’s centralised space showcasing highly finished and inspiring artistic works.
