Arthrocart Biotech is a growing startup that is developing an innovative and patented orthopedic product (Collafit): a meniscal implant, joint between condyle and tibia, with double structure, in double polyurethane, with integration of human recombinant collagen type 1 and 2, aimed at replacing the meniscus and treating severe osteoarthritis of the knee without a prosthesis in the active patient. This implant is slow resorbable, with cell colonization of fibroblasts and chondrocytes, and helps the regeneration of cartilage in the condyle and tibia previously prepared. Arthocart Biotech received Deeptech qualification from the BPI at the end of 2022, and is eligible for the Deeptech Development Assistance (ADD) scheme. R&D is underway (TRL 5 stage at the end of 2022), on two sites for the two structures of the meniscal implant, in partnership with: - a public research organization in France (CNRS) for the polymer, close to completion ; - two foreign private laboratories for recombinant collagen, still in the R&D phase
