ARthroLense has developed a revolutionary augmented and mixed reality-based system that is designed to cover the entire total knee arthroplasty (TKA) procedure from start to finish. Its solution utilizes high output gaming engine processors, spatial mapping cameras, and 3-dimensional positioning technology to deliver a real-time hologram into the physician’s field of view. This has the potential to allow physicians to take control and harness real-time data to evaluate positioning, resections, balancing, and implant placement decisions. ARthroLense was founded in 2019 by orthopedic surgeons Russell Nevins, MD, and David Backstein, MD.
