ARTLAB Durban

ARTLAB is a 3 month programme providing tools dedicated to developing and accelerating the professional growth of emerging creatives who have been adversely affected by the COVID19 lockdown. ARTLAB participants are given access to a photo & film studio, production facilities and office space allowing for private or portfolio work and enrollment into a schedule of industry related events and collaborative projects. The programme takes place at Open Plan Studio in Durban. ARTLAB IS FOR EMERGING CREATIVES Signing up to ARTLAB, emerging creatives gain access to free studio space and creative sector mentorship. • Talk to INDUSTRY EXPERTS about your career opportunities. • Finish portfolios and begin work applications. • Begin commercial freelance projects. • Access the extended network of STRATEGIC PARTNERS. • Digital platforms and tools to create and showcase work. • Enrollment into a schedule of industry related events. • Listing on the emerging talent DURBAN DATABASE. NATIONAL ARTS COUNCIL have granted ARTLAB seed funding for its strong outline and proposal. The NAC oversee project activities and funding and monthly submitted reports with oversight and guidance.
