About Arts and Minds Lab

The newly founded Arts and Minds Lab combines research from two fields. We are researching the influence of architecture and the urban environment on mental health and well-being. This is part of the project, Research Platform Neurourbanism (RPN), funded by the Berlin University Alliance/DFG and done in conjunction with the Charité University Medicine (bit.ly/neurourbanism) We are researching the transformative potential of visual art from a philosophy of mind and aesthetics perspective. This is part of the international consortium, ARTIS, funded by the EU (bit.ly/eu-artis)
