While traveling, we found ourselves longing for experiences that were more than just beautiful escapes. We wanted journeys that awaken awe, deepen our connection with nature, and immerse us in artistic pleasure. But we also saw an opportunity: What if such travel could catalyze into something bigger? What if it could support living artists and nature-conscious creators, and culminate in a public celebration of that magic? That’s how the idea for Arts Humanitas and the SF Natura et Ars Biennale was born. The SF Natura et Ars Biennale is a high-caliber cultural event celebrating artists, environmentalists, and animal advocates in San Francisco. These two offerings are designed to fuel each other: the journeys help fund the Biennale; the Biennale inspires the journeys.
