Artur Aníbal Esteves Salgado began his activity as an independent entrepreneur in 1952, commercializing all kinds of medical and surgical materials focusing his activity only in the North of Portugal at that time. His products were updated according to the requests and influence of doctors when they went traveling abroad to congresses or to train in a specific hospital for their medical and surgical specializations. Associated with the Health Cluster Portugal, ARTUR SALGADO, S.A. is in the first line of scientific research collaborating with INEB (National Institute of Biomedical Engineering).
