Aryatel was founded in 1992 to research and advance innovative technologies relevant to networking, communications, and information. The company expanded to become one of the leading providers of VoIP and wireless telephone services, unified communications, collaboration systems and long-distance plans for residential and commercial customers in Middle East and Africa. Aryatel offered unique services and products to differentiate itself from its competitors. The company pioneered the concept of providing unlimited service in the region and was the first carrier in Iran to provide unlimited VoIP services to businesses for an affordable price. The company was later acquired by an undisclosed private equity firm.
