AS Rubber & Plastics are one of the largest distributors of PVC Foam from 90Kg to 320Kg in the United Kingdom. AS Rubber & Plastics Limited was established in 1996 by Arthur Weale who had over twenty-five years experience in the industry sector. The main core activity of the business was the distribution of plain and adhesive coated cellular foam, with the primary material at that time being PVC foam supplied by our business partners the Italian foam producers Copescoat, into sectors such as automotive, construction, HVAC, medical electrical and engineering. As a result of the company’s continued growth by the end of 2001 AS Rubber & Plastics Limited reached full capacity and moved to a double unit with over 16000 square feet, with integrated offices and space for its own machinery investment which included laminators and log cutters. The company’s staff and turnover grew in the UK and extended to exports, and AS Rubber & Plastics Ltd were presented with the Innercity 100 Award in November 2002. Our product range continued to diverse further in 2004 when the company employed further Sales staff from within the Rubber and Foam Industry which helped the company to increase its manufacturing business further. With the continued growth of AS Rubber & Plastics Ltd in October 2011 the company relocated to new premises in West Bromwich. The relocation has given us a much improved working environment and will also give us the capacity for the continual growth of the business with further investment in machinery. Our relationship with Copescoat remains stronger than ever and our Sales of various types of PVC foams and Vinyls continues to improve year on year. We are always looking at new materials to add to our current product range which include EPDM and Neoprene Sponge, Nitrile PVC, Polyethylene Foams and many different types of Polyurethane Foams and a wide range of acrylic adhesive tapes we can supply in log and cut roll form.
