Sedania As Salam Capital is the Financial Technology (“FINTECH”) arm, a subsidiary of Sedania Innovator Berhad. It is set up to address the issue of banking needs for a diversified Tawarruq system via the AS-SIDQ platform.
AS-SIDQ automates the trading process of Telecommunication Airtime as a commodity between customers, bankers, commodity suppliers and commodity buyers. AS-SIDQ is a shariah-compliant service system that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With the ability of the system to be customized according to customer requirements, AS-SIDQ makes the customer’s operations seamless. Transactions made based on real-time and at the same time provide complete documentation without the need for paper.
AS-SIDQ has been adopted by over 20 Financial institutes such as Banks, Credit Cooperatives, Malaysian Factoring Association (MFA) and Factoring companies under it such as Zikay Factoring Sdn Bhd and Hidayah Factoring Malaysia Sdn Bhd. As Salam offers its banking services through its core product, AS-SIDQ (Service Level Tawarruq System) and is indirectly approved for use in Islamic banks by Bank Negara Malaysia in 2009.
