Architecture SUST Alumni Association (ASAA) is a common platform of the professionals graduated from the Department of Architecture, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology where the innovative minds share their experiences and knowledge for the betterment of the community and establishing communication for professional development. The institute works to create and maintain affiliation between the Department of Architecture, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and Institute of Architects’, Bangladesh (IAB) which is the national professional institution of the country. All the activities performed by the institution (ASAA) follow proper guidelines from its constitution that was formed in the year 2020 along with its first executive council while performing different activities which aims primarily unity, professional development, communication and professional assistance among the members. ASAA members aim at creating professional unity among not only the graduates of SUST but also with local government institutions and alumni of other universities from all over the country. ASAA accomplishes activities in order to explore different ways to increase the contribution of Architects towards our society and ecology. The institution also aims at providing opportunities to its member in order to develop their professional skills and for the collective wellbeing of the architects’ community.
