Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair School of Advanced Computing (ASAC) part of Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) is focused on providing its students with career-focused education; teaching and training with industry-relevant content.
We currently provide three main academic programs, Bachelor's degree, British Diploma (BTEC), and short courses.
1. Bachelor's: We offer the first Bachelor's degree in Cloud Computing in Jordan and the Middle East. The program enhances the career prospects of those specializing in this highly demanded field around the world.
2. BTEC: The second academic program we offer is BTEC in Computing; a two-year British diploma by Pearson Education with four different paths; Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Software Development. The launch of these programs came in response to the growing demand for professionals in these areas across different industries.
3. Short Courses: The short course program in software development, powered by Code Fellows Academy in Seattle – US equips students from different disciplines (statisticians, engineers, pharmacists, therapists, and business professionals) to launch successful software development careers. The program offers students hands-on software development experience in advanced programming languages such as Full-stack JavaScript, Java, and Python, as well as beginner-level HTML, CSS, and JavaScript courses, to meet the needs of the constantly evolving technology across sectors.
We attract students from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, and teach them skills for life.
