About aSantE Cycle

aSantE Cycle is a Ghanaian social venture committed to addressing the pressing issue of wood waste mismanagement through innovation, education, and the principles of a circular economy. Inspired by the Sokoban Wood Village, the largest wood-processing community in Ghana, aSantE Cycle transforms waste into opportunity while fostering environmental consciousness and sustainable practices. Our mission is to empower junior high school students with hands-on experiences in recycling and sustainability. Through the provision of innovative science kits, we guide students in repurposing wood waste into valuable products, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to tackle environmental challenges creatively. Our Core Focus Areas: • Environmental Impact: Reducing wood waste and promoting sustainable practices. • Social Impact: Empowering students in underserved communities with access to practical tools and fostering problem-solving skills. • Economic Impact: Inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs to create value from waste. By aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), aSantE Cycle is driving local innovation and global impact. Join us on our journey to build a sustainable future, one community at a time.
