After gaining experience at institutions like Deloitte, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, London School of Economics, and McGill, Mani settled in Port Maitland, NS. In Port-Maitland, she discovered a profound connection to nature, sparking thoughts on how rural communities, thriving in natural beauty, could also flourish economically through sustainable growth and employment. Recognizing the need for a research agency that could genuinely engage with and build trust within rural and remote communities, Mani set out to transfer essential knowledge from urban settings to rural areas. At ASBB Economics and Research Ltd, we place a strong emphasis on fostering trust and mutual respect in our interactions with communities. Since its inception, ASBB has expanded its services into three primary areas: 1. Economic Advisory: ASBB offers economic advisory services to governments and non-profit organizations.
