ASCE Region 8 is unique among all ASCE Regions in that we represent the largest geographic area for any region in ASCE in the United States. ASCE Region 8 is one of ten geographic regions within the ASCE Society, nine within the United States and one for the international members.
Region 8 consists of the 12 Sections of Alaska, Arizona, Columbia, Hawaii, Inland Empire, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Seattle, Southern Idaho, Tacoma-Olympia, and Utah, and the Western Canadian areas of Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.
