Ascend Together

Ascend Together supports families and school children in The Gambia to reach their full potential by providing wide ranging after-school programming including tutoring, test preparation and life skills classes. We supply a complete service to these families by structuring our programming around physical fitness and basketball. As a team sport basketball is a strong analogy for the preparation, teamwork and leadership that is required to succeed. We measure success in our ability to meet the needs of the families we serve. We work closely with parents to make sure that our after school activities align with the education goals they highlight for their children.
