AscendisMed International was founded in 2004 as a joint action of the UN, World Bank and WHO. We are a funding engine that meets the needs of the international community and companies, but we also support regional humanitarian needs. AscendisMed International is created as a not for profit service that assures the international standard of care for those enrolled and yet raises funds for humanitarian activity.
Scope of service for international staff includes facilitation of Medical care, Coordinate and direct evacuations, 24/7 medical hotline, Coverage card, Translation and support in the hospital/clinic, Oversight of the evaluation and treatment, etc.
Today we are present in Albania, Kosovo, Kenya, South Sudan and Uganda.
