Ascend Northern California Mentoring

Welcome to Ascend Northern California Mentoring - a leadership mentoring group, within Ascend's Northern California Chapter, whose mission is to inspire and develop the next generation of Pan-Asian professionals and leaders through mentoring. Our flagship initiative is the Ascend Mentoring Leadership (AML) Program - created and led by a team of seasoned business professionals. This mentoring program focuses on the fundamentals of leadership/management and professional growth in order to advance the careers and lives of both its participants and program volunteers. The AML Program objectives are to: • Groom and grow program participants to be more effective individual contributors, team leaders and managers through mentoring workshops and events that are educational, interactive and fun • Share best practices to establish or complement sponsors’ or member companies’ own mentoring programs and to enable various mentoring events including external mentoring opportunities • Establish a participatory community of diverse professionals, with broad experiences and skills, as a renewable mentoring resource for members to continue networking and cultivating management/leadership skills Program participants and volunteers will: • Learn, practice and apply mentoring / leadership / project management skills • Continually benefit from a growing mentoring community • Obtain a foundation for subsequent Ascend leadership programs and beyond Learn and grow by volunteering for event planning, workshop facilitation, social media marketing, etc. *** COME BE A PART OF THIS ORGANIZATION AND SUPPORT THE AML PROGRAM - BE A MENTOR AND A LEADER! *** For more information about Ascend Northern California Mentoring volunteering and its programs/events, email: norcalascendmentoring@gmail.com Ascend is nationally headquartered in NY.
