Ascent Architecture is an established architectural practice based in central Bristol, founded in 2004 by architect Steve Mardall. We specialise in finding creative solutions to challenging domestic & commercial RESIDENTIAL projects. In particular, we are adept at addressing the following challenges: Sites with negative planning history Listed buildings (unreasonable restrictions) Difficult/constrained sites (sloping, overlooked, multiple party walls) Feeling stuck and in need of a fresh perspective Missed opportunities resulting in not getting what you wanted Getting the right team – all pulling in the same direction Our mission is to deliver intelligent, creative and sustainable designs, including to Passivhaus standards.
