About Ateneo Student Exchange Council

The Ateneo Student Exchange Council (ASEC) is the premier accredited organization for the intercultural and academic exchange in the Ateneo de Manila University. ASEC is also the student arm of the Office of International Relations (OIR), thus being the home organization for the international exchange students in the Ateneo. For the past 50 years, ASEC has been creating avenues that bring together and serve the local and international exchange students in the context of a shared intercultural experience. Home to approximately 600 local students and 100 international exchange students per year, ASEC aims to form members who have developed a sense of global citizenship.
