Ashill Precision Engineering ltd is split into three sections. First is Milling which features Hurco CNC milling machines. Utilising online "Conversational Programming" via WinMax and Ultimax, these machines are networked and can be programmed off line via OneCNC XR6 Professional CAM. The next section features the "Turn / Mill" Mazac machining centres which have up to six axis available and are programmed in Mazatrol. With auto bar feeders these machines are especially equipped for mid volume upwards. The third section is that dedicated to turning with Colchester CNC lathes. Finally, a full compliment of manual machines is present to provide back up and is especially useful for the manufacture of jigs. Quality is paramount to all that we do and amongst the usual metrology equipment, we utilise CMM technology which is especially important for repetitive work and where 100% inspection is required together with a statistical inspection report.
