All of the company’s primary specialist and long reach machines are fitted with the latest 3D GPS machine control systems to give the company a unique capability of undertaking the most specialised of marine contracts with efficiency and accuracy. To add to this capability, the company uses Echoscope 3D sonar imagery to assist in the accurate underwater placement of precast concrete armouring units for Breakwaters and the protection of Quay Wall structures. The company has placed some of the heaviest concrete and rock armouring Units throughout the UK and Ireland with the range of units placed from 10T, 14T and 20T Antifer, X Bloc ad Accropode Units as well as rock armour up to 28T.
Ashleigh Contracts also has a number of modular pontoon Barges which complement the fleet of plant and equipment for carrying out dredging and piling works in harbours and marinas.
