ASHWA is a registered youth-led non- profit-making community-based organization operating in the Bukedi Sub-region in Eastern Uganda. Over the past years, we have become a model organization for Youth-led and driven programming within the communities of Uganda. Our organization has experience in HIV/SRHR/SGBV programming for young adults living with HIV/AIDS, and with Disabilities. Our focus is on improving health and care, Education and Livelihoods, and Peacebuilding interventions. Through our work, we ensure that children and young adults’ voices reach decision-makers at the grassroots levels and those who have the power to change unjust policies and practices at local, national, and international levels.
