Asia Flight Services leverages a multi-country presence and a combination of local and international management to deliver the highest quality aviation ground services in Southeast Asia and beyond.
Our clients include business aviation operators, trip support companies, commercial passenger and cargo airlines, governments, military and ambulance flight providers.
It all started in 2012 when we set up new outstations for the German leisure airline Condor which was launching flights to Yangon, Myanmar and Siem Reap, Cambodia. For this purpose we set up two local companies, Myanmar Aviation Centre and Indochina Aviation Centre. Unfortunately, after 6 months of preparation and 6 months of operation, these flights were suspended due to lack of demand and our newly hired staff was out of work.
But we didn't let that discourage us. Instead, we branched out into the non-scheduled market, quickly learning that our core values of customer service and transparency are greatly appreciated across the industry.
Shortly afterwards, we expanded our operations into neighboring Laos by setting up a local company and hiring local staff, as we had done in Cambodia and Myanmar.
With this growth came a need to harmonize procedures and standards, so a parent company, Asia Flight Services (AFS) was born. Based in Hong Kong, AFS centralizes invoicing, contracting, training standards, and it runs the 24h Operations Control Centre (OCC) which serves as the single point of contact and ensures round-the-clock availability.
Satisfied clients began asking us to provide services in yet more countries, so neighboring Vietnam and Thailand were the next locations we incorporated into our network. Even though these markets already had established providers of ground services, the users were often dissatisfied with the level and consistency of service they were receiving.
Today, we provide services to hundreds of flights every month across the Asia-Pacific region.
