Asian Creative Network is a group dedicated to Asians who dare to break the mold. While there is nothing wrong with going after the more conventional paths focused on STEM, this group is here for those who found their true passions in the arts. People who might have had to fight past parental disapproval, judgement from their peers, and their own self-doubt to go down the road less traveled. ▸▹ PURPOSE : The Asian Creative Network strives to inspire and elevate Asian creatives who want to explore and pursue their creative passions. ▸▹ VISION : The Asian Creative Network envisions a future in which Asian creatives feel fostered by equitable communities and equipped to pursue their creative dreams. ▸▹ MISSION :The Asian Creative Network connects and empowers Asian creatives by providing an inclusive, global platform and resources for active community building, collaboration, and growth. ▸▹ VALUES: ● Inclusion -- We strive to be an inclusive, safe community for Asian creatives of all backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and schools of thought. ● Collaboration -- We work closely within and beyond our community to build something greater than ourselves. ● Equity -- We enable Asian creatives to succeed by providing every unique individual with what they need to thrive. ● Innovation -- We consistently evaluate ourselves to generate new, improved methods of implementing our vision. ▸▹ GOALS: ● To make a space for Asian creatives to come together in a world where we are often excluded. ● To connect Asian creatives with others in order to advance their goals, careers, artistic/personal growth. ● To answer questions, offer advice, and have discussions about the issues that the Asian community faces as a whole or in creative careers.
